Merry Christmas Friends!

This has been a very difficult past six months, what with losing my boys, Tigger and Bob.  They will always be in my heart.

Back in October, a friend of my husband and mine wanted to find a home for a friendly stray kitty who lived in her apartment complex.  We decided to open our hearts and our home to him.  We took him in and had his health evaluated; it checked out fine.  He is now a member of our family, and is fitting in well with the rest of our furbabies.  He and Marmelade are on the road to becoming friends.

Here's Sebastian.  The photo is very fitting, as he talks quite a lot!

My boy Tigger peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday; his little body just gave out from fighting Chronic Renal Failure for two and a half years.  His dad and I, and his vet were with him until the end.  Tigger's dad and I rescued him at 10 days of age, and we had nearly 20 years with him.   I will miss by baby boy more than I can possibly express.

My brother Bob crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.  We did not get along, but I feel very sad for Mom and Dad and my other siblings.  They all really love Bob and miss him.  One thing, he was a very laid back dood and I respect that.  May you fly free Bob!

Meet My Family!

There are five kitties in our family.  I'd like to introduce you to my fur-siblings.

Here is Bob, age 13.  He is a brown tabby Manx.  We don't really get along too well.  I keep my distance from him!:

This is Pippin; she is 5 years old.  She is a patched tabby.  Isn't she pretty?!  She loves sinks!:

This is a picture of Marmelade (age 3) under the Christmas tree this year.  He is a red tabby.:

Midge (age 3) is Marmelade's litter mate.  We think she is a torbie.  We know she's a scamp! MOL:

Happy Holidays!

We had a wonderful Christmas!  We hope you did too.  Santa Paws was good to us; there were lots of toys and some goodies in our stocking!

Here is a picture of me in my pink Christmas Calvin Collar -- pink is my favorite color by the way!:
